We’ve had some fun with this theme, drawing upon both legal and real life cookies. Whether as an annoyance while you’re browsing online, or a treat to look forward to at the end of a long day, cookies are a constant in our lives. Here we’ve placed an image of delicious stacked cookies, with a contrasting serious typeface, ITC Blair.

Life cycle 

As time rolls on, it’s no secret that our senses start to change slightly. With this image, our designer has played with the concept of an eye examination board. This highlights the need for businesses to consider legibility for all ages and abilities. The bold typeface used to portray this message is Futura Now.

Conflict and peace 

This style is all about contrast: finding harmony in balance. Strong text can be used to draw attention to a message, perfect for a CTA. Here, lines, shapes, colors, and typography, each with their own significant visual impact, have been applied against each other. However, when paired, the visual elements work well together, creating peace from conflict. The text is striking and clear, while the rounded edges create a welcoming look. The typeface used here is ITCAvantGarde. 

Hot and wet

Think of tropical rain forests, nature in the summer, and high humidity. To mimic these environments, note the varied use of greens. Focusing on earthy tones, this image encapsulates natural beauty, showcasing how this may be translated into typeface choices. Here, the typeface AshleyScript is used.

However, over time, using simple keywords became the new norm, omitting unnecessary words and punctuation from searches completely. Thibault shares his own experience of this shift: “I personally don’t search as much anymore. For anything related to work, passion, or hobbies (anything that’s not shopping) I use GPT or some type of LLM. It’s so much better because a lot of the content that shows up first today has been gamified by backlinks and ads.”

This insight into the new ways we search and research opens up a world of possibilities. AI is delivering more personalized and relevant results, while also disrupting traditional content monetization models.

In terms of content creation, AI is streamlining workflows, boosting efficiency, and enabling creators to work more effectively than ever before. Thibault notes, “It’s a key part of my workflow and I see it with all the people around me. There’s definitely a transformation happening.” This transformation is paving the way for more innovation and creativity across industries.

Now that AI agent is creating content for you proactively, based on the next season, like Black Friday or Christmas.” Here, Thiabult demonstrates the potential for AI to act as an additional member of a marketing team, always ready to work on your next project.

One of the most exciting aspects of AI is its ability to reduce the barrier to entry for creativity, allowing more people to express themselves and create content without needing advanced technical skills.

Thibault sees AI as a tool for unlocking talents in a whole range of areas: “It’s going to help so many people realize that they have a talent by reducing the barrier to entry to many things. It’s exactly that for creativity. It’s going to be the same thing for math. I think it’s going to be the same for a lot of things. It’s a big deal.”

AI tools are already empowering users in countless fields. “Today you can use a text-to-image tool and start using that for mood boarding or prototyping,” he explains. Thibault gives the example of planning your own home renovations.

“Let’s say you want to renovate your kitchen. In the past, you had to go through these tools that would be tedious and outdated to visualize in 3D, and then put a mood board together to decide on the type of kitchen you want. But now you can take a picture of the kitchen that you have today, and restyle it in the way you like that you found online. It’s incredible.” This reduces the need for a specialized skill set at every stage, and instead creates new possibilities for a wider audience, as AI provides new found accessibility to design.

AI Replace

Think of this tool as your magic wand to turn any part of your image into something brand new. AI Replace uses a technique called “inpainting” – or replacing parts of an image – to allow you to select any object or part of your photo and replace it with anything you can imagine. In the example image below, the ice cream was replaced with a tree using the keywords “Christmas tree, ultra-realistic, HD, photorealism.” You can even use it for cheeky purposes like removing your ex from a photo.

How to use AI Replace

1) Open the Picsart app for iOS and tap the plus sign (+) at the bottom of your screen to start a new project. 

2) Scroll over and select “Draw” from the toolbar at the bottom of your screen.

3) Select “AI Replace” and then brush over the area of your image you want to replace and tap the “AI Replace” button.

4) Describe what should replace your selected area (the more specific, the better) and then tap “Generate Image.”

5) Select your favorite image and either download it to your device or continue editing by selecting “Edit Image.”

AI Replace is rolling out soon to all iOS Picsart Gold users. To access the tool, download the latest version of Picsart from the App Store. 

AI Background

Our new AI Background tool takes the subject of your image on vacation to a brand new destination. This isn’t simply removing and replacing the background. This tool uses AI to place the subject naturally within a newly generated scene, creating shadows and scaling an object to look realistic against its new background. For the example below, the succulent plant was placed within a more exciting background with the keywords “In the sand on a tropical beach with the ocean in the background, HD.” 

How to use AI Background

1) Open the Picsart app for iOS and tap the plus sign (+) at the bottom of your screen to start a new project. 

2) Scroll to the right on the toolbar at the bottom of your screen and select “Remove BG.” You will then see the background of your image disappear.

3) Select “AI Background” on the bottom of your screen.

4) Enter a word, phrase, or sentence about the backdrop you want to generate. Select “Generate Image,” and see your new AI generated scene. 

4) Select your favorite image and then select Edit image. Continue editing your image using thousands of Picsart tools, filters, stickers, backgrounds and more.
